We woke to a cold wet day, the sun not breaking through until late afternoon and even then it remained cold. Our day had a lovely start though with video calls home.
We went to Mass at St Salvador Church, very close to where we're staying which was just as well as it was raining hard and the wind was strong. We weren't the only ones being blown along to church, trying to control raincoats or umbrellas.
Pentecost Sunday Mass was celebrated with a magnificent choir and organ music and 15 altar servers. St Salvador Church dates back to the very early 1400s when it was a Carmelite Closter until the Reformation in 1562. It has been the Catholic parish community church only since 1825.
We returned to the church later in the afternoon when the sun was out to take these photos.

We came back 'home' after Mass to dress more warmly before walking on the ramparts of the medieval city wall, a 2.7 km walk. We walked in your footsteps Nathan & Bridie as we also walked anticlockwise, it was fun knowing that you had walked it before us.
It was a bitterly cold walk as even though there was overhead cover the wind blew in needles of rain. Nevertheless, we enjoyed looking out over the houses.
