We are finally in Hamburg.
After our incredibly long and tiring flight from Auckland to Dubai, and our shorter but equally tiring flight from Dubai to Hamburg, we were very relieved to check-in at our hotel.
Before we could fully relax though, we had to find a supermarket and get a few supplies as many, if not most, places will be closed tomorrow, Easter Sunday, and also on Easter Monday.
It's Spring in Hamburg and many trees are covered with frothy pink or white blossom, and others with fresh spring-green leaves. Also there are many beds of daffodils of all sorts.
It's quite cool - it was just 9°C when we landed at 2 pm, with a light drizzle.
